Rare Pink Salmon Passes Through The Winchester Dam

On Oct 5th, a very rare male Pink Salmon passed through the Winchester Dam. This is the first one counted here since 2017. It is projected that nearly 8 million Pink Salmon will return to the Strait of juan de Fuca and the Puget Sound in Washington this year. This one likely strayed from there.
